Unlike direct to card printing, this revolutionary process prints images onto special HDP Film, which is then fused into the surface of a card through heat and pressure. This technology offers us a wealth of printing and encoding advantages over traditional direct to card printing methods.

Print quality that is over the edge.

The print quality of HDP technology is outstanding. Thanks to its unique printing process, the prints yield 16.7 million colors at 300dpi for unsurpassed image clarity and depth. It prints tightly to the edge of any size smart chip, as well as over-the-edge of three sizes of card stock (CR80,CR90 and CR100). Your identification card project will attain professional quality with absolutely no borders, even on the oversize cards!

HDP printing method offers added security.

Remarkable security is only one of the many benefits realized using HDP technology. Graphics and text are printed on the underside of the HDP film then the image is “sandwiched” between the durable film and the card. The result is a durable, virtually tamper-proof card with no visible borders.
